Note
: It is not possible to enter your destination via the
postcode
using voice
control.
Street addresses between 1 and 1000 are valid (e.g. 512).
If you do not wish to enter a street address, say the command
Street centre
when prompted
to select an entry from the list. The route is then calculated to the middle of the street.
Once you enter the street address and after route calculation is complete, the signal will
sound and you can launch navigation by saying the command
Navigation
.
If during destination entry you wish to select categories which are on the second screen,
please use the commands “
Next
” or “
Scroll
”.
Note:
Place and street names must be entered in the
language
of the respective destination
country. For example, you have to say the command “Nice” (pronounced niece) if you wish to
travel to “Nice” in France.
Note:
If the device is unable to recognise one of your commands, you will be prompted to
repeat it. If the command is not recognised after you repeat it, voice control mode is
automatically deactivated.
If you have activated the option
Ask route options
on the Settings menu, you have the
option of changing your current route options by voice command before your route is actually
calculated. To select the appropriate route options, utter the text beneath the button you
require (e.g. Car, Clever, Toll, Calculate). It is not necessary to change all route options. You
can cancel the change process at any time by uttering the command
Calculate
.
Voice control is automatically deactivated when navigation begins.
Navigating to favourites
If you want to navigate to a
favourite
using voice control, a favourite must first have been
created. Proceed in the manner described above.
Navigating to recent destinations
All destinations you enter into your navigation device and navigate to are stored in a list of
recent destinations. You can access this list using voice control.
Note:
If you have not previously entered any destinations, the
Recent destinations
button is
deactivated and you cannot select recent destinations using voice control or onscreen input.
Navigating to your home address
You can use voice control to navigate to your home address.
Activate voice control. After the signal sounds, say the command
Home
. Route calculation
starts automatically.
To start navigation, say the command
Navigation
. Voice control is automatically
deactivated.
Special destinations
Special destinations can be selected for navigation using voice control. For example, you can
navigate to rest areas or petrol stations with a few voice commands during your trip.
Tap the
Destination entry
button on the main menu. Activate the voice control mode.
After the signal sounds, say the command
Special destinations
. The menu changes to
display all available special destination categories; the navigation device prompts you to
select a
category
. To do so, wait for the signal to sound and then say the word underneath
