Route calculation - Show route description and alternative routes
After the route has successfully been calculated,
you will be shown the route on an overview map.
You can continue to view the
Route
description
/
Route list
, or select an
Alternative
route.

Tap on the button
You can display the
distance
and
duration
of the calculated route and also the
kilometres
and
time
covered.
You can use the
arrow keys
to move through the sections of the route with details of
street
names
and
turn-off instructions
from the starting point to the destination so that you can
track your route.
You tap the
Navigation
button to start navigating.
Alternative routes
After you have entered a destination, you can have further alternative routes calculated in
addition to your calculated route.
Tap on the button
Define the route options for the alternative routes. For each alternative route, you can choose
whether the route calculated should be
short
, so the shortest route, or
fast
, so the fastest
route, but not necessarily the shortest. To do this, move the scroll bar in the appropriate
direction for each alternative route.
The alternative route is calculated on the preset profile and the selected routes to be avoided
(e.g. depending on your settings without toll roads).
On the map view screen, you will be offered two further alternative routes in addition to the
calculated route. Furthermore, you can view your
current position
,
distance
and
travel
time
and your preset
profile
.
Select an
alternative route
at the lower edge of the screen.
Tap on
to show the route description for the selected alternative route.
Tap on
Navigation
to select the alternative route for route calculation.
Note:
When you make a selection from the route list, other alternative routes are deleted.
