4 Handling the printer

TIP

•

If the page number in the setup menu is displayed on the operation panel, you can select the desired item by pressing

the [MENU

] key or [MENU

] key .

•

For more information on each setup item, refer to "4.4.2 Items in the setup menu".

4. When selecting the parameter from the setup menu, press a key between [F1] key and [F4] key on

the operation panel to change the parameter.

•

The parameter is saved, and the menu returns to the previous hierarchy.

5. When entering the parameter in numbers and letters

a) Press a key between [F1] key and [F4] key on the operation panel to change the parameter.

•

The parameter is saved and the menu to the previous hierarchy

b) To save the changed parameter, press the [ENTER] key on the operation panel.

•

The parameter is saved and the display returns to the setup menu one higher on the hierarchy.

NOTE

•

If you do not press the [ENTER] key after you changed parameters, and then press the [CANCEL] key and one of keys
between [F1] key and [F4] key, the changed parameter is not saved.

6. Press the [CANCEL] key on the operation panel to end making settings.

•

The display returns to the setup menu one higher on the hierarchy.

•

If the main menu is displayed, the display returns to normal.
