6 Troubleshooting

6.4 When media jams occur

If the loaded media is jammed in the printer, follow the steps below to remove the jammed media.

6.4.1 How to remove a piece of media (roll media)

1. Press [F2] to raise the pressurizing roller.

•

The MEDIA SET lamp will turn on (green).

•

The following message is displayed on the operation panel.

NOTE

•

When raising or lowering the pressurizing roller, you can use the foot switch instead of the control panel.

•

The footswitch is attached for 64-inch and 87-inch spec.

2. Hold the scroller and wind up the roll media by hand.
