Zeroing 
 

 

1)  Position the probe for zeroing. 
2)  Navigate the system menu for the desired channel and select Manual 

Zero. 

 
 
 
 

Manual Zero (continued) 

 
The display will change to show the manual zero input value (MZERO) and 
using the menu buttons the user can enter a value by selecting the appropriate 
digit and either incrementing of decrementing the digit. Incrementing or 
decrementing any of the digits can be done by pressing the left or right side of 
the [Manual] button or by pressing the corresponding menu hot key button. 
Pressing the [Reset] button resets the manual zero value to zero and backing 
out of the menu with the value at zero turns off the manual zero feature. 
 
While manual zero is active this value will be added to (or subtracted from) all 
future readings.   
 

NOTE:  Attempting to enter manual zero values larger than the selected range 
is not allowed, the meter will beep and ignore the requested value change. 

 

NOTE:  Making a manual adjustment to the zero point only affects the selected 
range.  Changing the range also resets the manual zero value to zero and 
turns off manual zero mode.
