Configuring the Extricom WLAN System

Field

Description

Syslog Address

Enter the IP address of the computer to send the System
Log.

Syslog Interval (sec)

Specify how often information is sent to the System Log.
3600 seconds is the recommend default interval.

If you are observing a problem, you can
decrease the

Syslog Interval

to receive

updates more frequently.

Click

Update

to save the configuration.

The new configuration only takes effect after rebooting the switch (refer to

Rebooting the Extricom Switch

on page 19).
