Read these instructions before use
These instructions contain important information and warnings. Inexpert or careless
use of open fire can, like incorrect handling of the grill, pose a risk to people and
property. It is therefore important that you take the time to carefully read all the
instructions before use.

Box gas grill
The Box gas grill has a simple and sculptural design and is equipped with two
individual burners which thereby enable both direct and indirect cooking, and which
makes it easy to control the cooking temperature. The grill has a large cooking
surface, and can also be used like a fan oven by closing the lid with the built-in
thermometer.
The gas grill is supplied with flame tamers. Fat and juices which drip down onto
these evaporate, and help to impart an authentic barbecue flavour.
The grill is made of black enamelled steel, the legs and side handles are made of
stainless steel, and the handle on the lid is made of Bakelite. H 34 cm x W 60 cm
x D 40 cm with a cooking surface measuring L 31 cm x W 37 cm.
Setting-up
Remove the parts from the packaging. Place the box (1) on a firm surface, and
then screw the four legs (10) into place by hand. Place the grill upright. Wash the
flame tamers (3) and the grid (2) with soap and water to remove any oil residues
from production. To mount the bottom heat shield (6), you first need to unscrew
the burner (5) by removing the two R-clips. Make sure that the drain hole in the
bottom heat shield is aligned with the drain hole in the bottom of the grill. Then
fit the side heat shield, making sure that it fits properly into the bottom heat shield.
Then place the flame tamers and the grid in the right positions. Now place the drip
bowl (9) under the grill as shown.
Warnings concerning setting-up:
• Only ever use the grill outdoors.
• The grill must be set up at a minimum distance of 60 cm from flammable
materials. The distance between the top of the grill and any overhang must be at
least 1 metre.
• Never set up or use the grill under or close to a flammable roof.
Box Gasgrill Beine und Seitenablage
Als weiteres Zubehör sind hohe Beine und eine Seitenablage erhältlich.
Montage: Die vier Beine des Box Gasgrills von Hand abschrauben. Die zwei
Edelstahlgriffe abnehmen – hierzu die vier kleinen Montageschrauben mit einem
Schraubendreher lösen. Achtung, der Deckel ist nun lose! Die vier hohen Beine in
ihre Position stecken und die vier Montageschrauben wieder eindrehen. Außerdem
die vier mitgelieferten großen Schrauben durch die Montagelöcher an den Beinen
am Boden des Grills anbringen. Die Ablage kann heruntergeklappt werden, wenn
der Grill nicht im Gebrauch ist.
