Enhanced Entertainment Services Through OpenGlobe
OpenGlobe is a website and series of links geared to help you find more content or
information relative to your music on TuneBase 200.
For example, while listening to a CD or reviewing the Music guide, you can press the
OpenGlobe key on your remote or keyboard and immediately jump to an OpenGlobe page
on the Internet that contains a list of the week’s top CD’s in your favorite categories. Or,
you might want to access the latest information on a favorite artist and see what their
musical influences have been.
As OpenGlobe evolves and new services are featured, you will be able to take advantage
of the latest OpenGlobe offerings to enhance your music listening experience. It’s likely
that you will be able to purchase CDs and download them instead of having to wait for
them in the mail.
As new OpenGlobe services, new peripherals, ISPs, applications, and user interface
software are developed, TuneBase 200 will access the updated software via the Internet
and provide you with the most current services and software. (Software is downloaded
to your system during regularly scheduled connections.)
!
If there is no user input (cursor
movement, scrolling, etc.) within 5
minutes after connecting to the
Internet while in the OpenGlobe
environment, then TuneBase 200
will disconnect from the Internet.
