7.23.7 ip dhcp pool
This command configures a DHCP address pool and enter DHCP Pool
Configuration mode. Use the no form to remove the address pool.
Syntax
[no] ip dhcp pool < name >
name
- A string or integer. (Range: 1-8 characters)
Default Setting
DHCP address pools are not configured.

Command Usage
• After executing this command, the ECN330-switch changes to DHCP
Pool Configuration mode, identified by the
(config-dhcp)#
prompt.
• From this mode, first configure address pools for the network interfaces
(using the
network
command). An address can also be manually
bound to a specific client (with the
host
command) if required. Up to 8
network address pools can be configured, and up to 32 manually bound
host address pools (that is, listing one host address per pool). However,
note that any address specified in a
host
command must fall within the
range of a configured network address pool.
