Data Entry Options for Fax Transactions Job Codes Data Entry

Working with job codes for fax transactions includes three steps.
1 Enter the desired accounting information (including destination fax number, if desired)
at the terminal.

The terminal assigns a six-digit, numerical job code for the accounting data (000000
through 999999).
3 Enter the job code at the fax device to process the transaction.
Note: The
PageCounter
terminal stores job codes for a configurable amount of time.
Creating Job Codes with Accounting Data
Perform the following to create a job code for accounting data only.

Ensure that the terminal is in Job Code mode.
a
Press the corresponding function key for MODE .
b Press the corresponding number key for JBCODE .

Enter appropriate accounting information in each data entry field by performing one of
the following as needed:
• Enter the accounting code. If necessary, press
ENTER
after each field entry.
• Enter accounting data at a field using the Search, Scan, Recall, or Speed Code
options using the function keys.
Note: Edit entered codes by moving back to the previous field using the Up arrow key. Then
use the
BACK
key to edit the code, as needed. Press
ENTER
after editing the code.
3 When the terminal reaches the fax number field, press
ENTER
.

Write down the job code number the terminal displays on the screen, and press
ENTER
.
5 Repeat steps 1 through 4 to create another job code.
Creating Job Codes with Accounting Data & Fax Number
Perform the following to create a job code for accounting data and a destination fax
number.
1 Ensure that the terminal is in Job Code mode.
a Press the corresponding function key for MODE .
b
Press the corresponding number key for JBOCDE .
