Gathering information about the firmware and interface serves as an
essential troubleshooting tool. Answering a checklist of questions
can be instrumental in finding where the problem lies. Use the
following sections as a guide to troubleshooting the problem.

Firmware Information

• What is the PageCounter Software Version (displayed when the terminal is powered

up)?

• What is the revision number (if applicable)?

• What is the accounting system software version; is the program a custom installation?
