7. Lower the ink cartridge into the cartridge holder with
the label on the cartridge face up and the arrow on the
cartridge pointing to the rear of the printer. The larger
(color) cartridge goes on the right, the smaller (black) ink
cartridge on the left.
8. Press the ink cartridge clamp down until it locks in place.
The following illustration shows color ink replacement. For
black ink replacement, press down the smaller clamp on the
left.

Caution:
Once you install the cartridges, do not open their clamps
again until you replace the ink cartridges; otherwise, the
cartridges may become unusable.
