5.1.2 Installation instructions
• Choose a mounting location that can be easily accessed at a later stage.
• Align the spectrometer so that the measurement gap is rinsed by the flow of medium.
• Do not install the device in places where air pockets and foam bubbles form.
• Ensure that upright posts and assemblies are fully secured and vibration-free.
To ensure correct measurement, the windows at the measurement gap must be free from
any sedimentation. The best way to ensure this is through the use of a cleaning unit
(accessory) operated by compressed air.

In the event of horizontal orientation, mount the spectrometer in such a way that air
bubbles can escape from the measurement gap (do not point it downwards).
