Chlorine analysis with the Cl module

53

The "high sensitive" measuring
cell

This measuring cell is used for very low chlorine content (0.01 to 10 µg). In particular, it
is recommended for use in EOX determination or for gaseous sample.

The measuring cell consists of the base element with magnetic stirring rod and lid. The
positions of the required components are marked inside the lid of the measuring cell.

The central borehole is intended for an adapter that is connected to the exhaust hose. It
is used as an exhaust for the acetic acid vapors.

The small unmarked opening is used for direct injection into the cell. This opening is
closed with a plug when measuring gas is routed into the measuring cell from the com-
bustion furnace.
