Installation and Configuration

At this point you should have already mounted the switch and completed the installation

instructions outlined in the Avocent® Matrix Switching System Quick Installation Guide.

In the figure below, multiple transmitters and receivers are attached to a single Matrix switch.

Up to four Matrix switches may be interconnected to create a larger switching system capable of

supporting more receivers and transmitters. This is referred to as a cascaded system. When
