) will display background readings (

). This is

the system internal kVAr readings when all the capacitor groups are disconnected. Normally, all values should be
zero. However, if one of the groups is malfunctioned with a burned SCR, it may cause a short circuit and turn on a
group (or all or part of the phases) and the kVAr readings will be non-zero. This will also cause E3 on this group.
