Wire clips
Wire clips are used to replace the stainless steel clips in the following situations.
Door:
Wire clips are to be used on the glass behind where the doors slide. Wire clips are only needed on
one side of these sheets of glass. See the diagram below.
The same wire clip is also used everywhere on the greenhouse if bar capping is fitted.
Roof vent:
Wire clips must be used on the panes of glass either side of the vent. The wire clips are only neces-
sary on the sides of the glass nearest to the vent. This is because the vent side rails overlap the roof
glazing bars. See diagram below.
N.B. Stainless steel band clips are not required when additional optional glazing capping is used.
However wire clips are still necessary in the position mentioned earlier (i.e. under the vent and be-
hind the door). The above mentioned rules apply for both toughened glass and horticultural glass.
