Step 6 - FIT New UMF

1. REFIT new LC109 into bottom cap.

2. TIGHTEN until hand tight and resistance against ‘O’

ring is felt.

CAUTION!

Do not over-tighten.

3. FIT LC109 cartridge into top cap.

CAUTION!

Ensure filter is not cross-threaded when
fitting into top cap.

4. TIGHTEN until hand tight and resistance against ‘O’

ring is felt.

Step 7 - Rinse New UMF

WARNING!

THE NEW UMF FILTER MUST BE RINSED
FREE OF BACTERIOSTATIC SOLUTIONS.
TO RINSE THE UNIT ENTER THE
SANITIZING PROCEDURE (SEE SECTION
8), ENSURE THE BY-PASS BLOCKS ARE
CORRECTLY FITTED AND THAT NO
TABLETS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.

1. SWITCH

ON

power.

2. PRESS FLUSH button.

3. RELEASE air from UMF (Analytic and Ionic) by

carefully opening the air bleed located at the top of the
UMF Filter.

Note:

Place an absorbent cloth around the air bleed
to catch any water that is expelled with the air.

4. CHECK for leakage from UMF.

5. TIGHTEN if necessary.

Step 8 - Set UMF Pack Change Timer
