2.3 Addressing Modes
ELAN eSL Series supports powerful and efficient addressing modes. A lot of
instructions use several addressing modes. The following sections will describe
the available eSL Series addressing modes.
2.3.1 Register Direct Addressing
The operands are in the register file.
Example:
R1 = R2 + R3

2.3.2 Register Indirect Addressing
Operand address is the contents of the registers used when accessing the RAM
or ROM.
Example:
R3 = [R2] – R1 – B and R3 = P[R1]
