*Auto range takes the measurement after the appropriate range is determined from the
pre-measurement; therefore, it takes longer time than manual measurement.

Parameter settings
By pressing MEAS PAR, the “Parameter menu” screen appears. There are following
options given on the Parameter menu screen.
A) Parameter Editing
Choose “EDIT” on MEAS PARA menu, and “Registered Parameter list” will be displayed.
Select a parameter by using Up/Down key and press ENTER.
“Use Sensor Unit” screen will appear, and the following two options are given.
a. USE SENSOR UNIT: Use the Sensor unit
b. MAIN UNIT ONLY: Use only the Main unit
When using the Sensor unit, select the “USE SENSOR UNIT” on the “01 PARAMETER
EDIT” screen (Sensor Unit Selection). The “01 PARAMETER 1/2” screen (Range and
Pyranometer) is displayed; enter the parameter name, measurement range,
pyranometer Calibration value. By pressing the ENTER key, “01 PARAMETER 2/2”
screen (PV Device Parameter) is displayed next; setup each PV module’s parameter,
then press ENTER. The parameter is saved with the name just entered.
When taking only the I-V curve measurement without using the Sensor unit, select the
“MAIN UNIT ONLY” on the “01 PARAMETER EDIT” screen (Sensor Unit Selection).
The next “01 PARAMETER EDIT” screen (Irradiance and Temp.) is displayed, and the
irradiance and the back side temperature of the PV device can be entered. Once
entered the values, press ENTER key then the go to the next “01 PARAMETER EDIT”
screen (Range Selection).
