Operator’s Manual City Ranger 3070

1.6 Controls - continued

Keypad panels

The machine has two keypad panels. Their buttons and functionalities are described in this section.

Keypad 1

1. SET

Press to set speed for cruise control.

2. Cruise control activation

Press this button to enable cruise control.

The switch is also used to disable cruise control. The brake pedal can also be used to disable cruise

control.

3. Load suspension

If load suspension is activated, the A-frame will dampen machine vibrations when driving with

an attachment mounted. This helps to increase operator comfort. Load suspension can only be

enabled in transport mode. If load suspension is enabled the diode next to the button is illuminated.

Load suspension will automatically be disabled if right joystick is activated in either forward or

reverse direction or if the operation mode is changed to work mode or manual mode.

4. Weight transfer

The operator can adjust the pressure of which the selected attachment is pressed against the road/

ground by using the weight transfer functionality. This function is only applicable in work mode.

When active, the diode next to the button is illuminated.

Weight transfer will automatically disable if right joystick is activated in either forward or reverse

direction or if operation mode is changed to transport mode or manual mode.

5. Work mode

When a valid attachment combination is selected, it is possible to enable Work Mode by pressing

the work mode button. When enabled, the diode next to the button is illuminated. In work mode

controls appear to control the attachments selected and the machine is automatically configured

to allow working instantaneously. The hydrostatic transmission is automatically adjusted to

optimum performance for working with attachments. If the operator leaves the machine the engine

is automatically stopped after 2 seconds for safety reasons. To disable work hydraulics press the

Work Mode button briefly. To disable Work Mode completely press the button for 2 seconds.
