Operator’s Manual City Ranger 3070

2.8 Engine warm-up

Warm-up instructions

• Do not attempt to start the City Ranger 3070 when the temperature is below -20°C.

• Start the engine.

• The pumps start up with the diesel engine and must be operated for at least 10 minutes at the

engine idling speed in order to ensure self-lubrication.

• Then slowly operate all system functions several times at low load in order to warm up the entire

system as uniformly as possible. In the same time slowly swivel the traction pump outwards.

Continuous flushing is necessary in all components in order to prevent temperature shocks.

All system functions must be operated slowly several times at low load until the entire system

reaches a temperature where the machine works at full performances.
