Operator’s Manual City Ranger 3070

1.13 Towing

Warning

The City Ranger 3070 is a vehicle with

a hydrostatic transmission. Avoid

towing the machine for long stretches

and at slowest possible speed, max.5

km/h (3.1 mph).

Warning

Release the parking brake before

towing. The parking brake will activate

automaticly when Direction Switch is

in P-position or if the engine stops.

Release the parking brake

1. Remove the right side cover from the rear part

of the machine.

2. Close the hydraulic parking valve.

3. Pump with lever, minimum 50 strokes.

4. It can be necessary to pump more strokes to

keep the parking brake released. (Picture 2)

Towing the machine

Only tow the machine a few metres just enough

to move it out of traffic.

1. Attach the towline to one of the towing devices.

(Picture 1)

2. Release the parking brake.

3. Tow the machine slowly.

After towing, open the hydraulic Parking valve and

mount the side cover again.
