Operator’s Manual City Ranger 3070

3.4 Coolant - continued

Coolant replacement

Attention

The coolant line is under pressure;

do not perform any check until the

engine has cooled down and, even if

the engine is cold, the plug of the tank

must be opened with extreme care.

1. Prepare a container having a proper capacity

(about 16 litres).

2. Drain the cooling system by disconnecting

the coolant hose in the bottom of the left side

radiator. (Picture 1)

3. Drain the coolant in the container, then connect

the sleeve.

4. Remove the coolant tank cap and completely

fill the system with coolant. The coolant tank

must be full.

Coolant components

• 50% of ANTIFREEZE.

• 50% of water.

Always use the recommended antifreeze or

equivalent.

5. Put back the radiator cap.

6. Turn on the engine and let it idle for a few

minutes to reach the operating temperature 70-

80°C. If the coolant level alarm appears, top up.
