Operator’s Manual City Ranger 3070

1.6 Controls - continued

Joysticks

The machine has two joysticks mounted on

the armrest to control the attachments and the

A-frame. This section covers only the actuation

of the A-frame as control of the attachments is

covered in the manual of each attachment.

The right joystick controls the actuation of the

A-frame. If the joystick is pushed in the forward

direction, the A-frame will lower and if pulled

reverse, the A-frame will lift up. (Picture 1)

Direction switch

The direction switch controls the transmission.

If the direction switch is pushed forward the

machine will drive forward, the center position

is parking and if pulled backwards, the machine

will drive backwards. When in parking position,

the parking brake automatically engages. When

in forward or reverse the parking automatically

disengages. (Picture 2)

Multifunction switch

1. Horn.

2. Washer fluid.

3. Direction indicator. Move the lever up to

indicate right turn. Move the lever down to

indicate left turn.

4. Windscreen wiper. Rotate one step for interval.

Rotate 2 steps for full speed. (Picture 3)

Attention

Always ensure that washer fluid tank

contains enough to satisfy the need

for the trip. Beware that washer fluid

does not freeze.
