Cause The inlet filter is blocked.
Remedy Clean or replace the inlet filter.
Cause The pump has not warmed up.
Remedy Warm the pump to operate at an ambient temperature range (12 °C ~ 40 °C).
Fault The pump is noisy
Cause The motor fan cover is damaged or the motor bearings are worn.
Remedy Return the pump to our service centre for repair.
Cause The oil is contaminated with solid particles.
Remedy Clean the pump and replace the oil.
Fault The pump surface temperature is above 100 °C
Cause The ambient temperature is too high.
Remedy Set the ambient temperature to less than 40 °C.
Cause The cooling air supply is insufficient or is too hot.
Remedy Increase the air supply to an acceptable level and check that the ambient temperature
is less than 40 °C.
Cause The outlet filter or the outlet pipeline is blocked.
Remedy Clear the exhaust path.
Replace or clear the exhaust filter (if fitted).
Cause The oil level is below the minimum allowable level.
Remedy Fill the pump with oil above the minimum allowable level.
Cause The pump has been filled with the wrong type of oil or the oil is contaminated.
Remedy Clean the pump and replace the oil.
Cause The process gas is too hot or the throughput is too high.
Remedy Cool down the process gas.
Fault The vacuum is not fully maintained after the pump is switched off
Cause The gas ballast control is open.
Remedy Close the gas ballast control.
Cause The inlet valve pad is damaged.
Remedy Replace the inlet valve.
Cause The inlet valve has not closed.
Remedy Close the inlet valve.
