Setting Up the Extension Pole

The optional extension pole enables you to use Lyft® in hard-to-reach locations. Proceed as follows
to ready the system for operation.

Installing the Extension Pole Supports on the PEC Probe

Locate the pocket on the side of the side of the extension pole carrying case.

From the pocket, remove the supports, screws, and tools.

According to the size of the probe you are using, select the
appropriate supports. There are two supports per probe size.

PEC probe supports and screws

Place the probe on one side, and then align the support screw holes with those on the probe.

Using the supplied thumb screws, secure the support to the side of the probe.

Repeat for the second support on the opposite side of the probe.

Installing the PEC Probe on the Extension Pole

Slide the probe through the extension pole’s head as illustrated.
