The side with flat surface is perfect for frying bacon, eggs, pancakes, French toasts and sandwiches
(see figure C).
5. Select the side for cooking, and place the plate on the base, chosen side up. Make sure that the plate is
placed on the base correctly. Place the plate in such a way that the openings for dripping juice lie over
the metal spout of the drip container on the left side of the appliance (see figure D). Wrongly placed plate
will not be stable.
6. Plug the power cord into the power outlet. Now you are ready to cook.

USING THE APPLIANCE
After the assembly of the stainless steel multifunctional grill and getting ready the necessities for cooking,
turn the temperature control knob (No. 3) to the desired position – High, Medium, or Low (see figure E). LED
on the top of the appliance will turn on to show that it is in operation (see figure F).
To reach cooking temperature takes 10–12 minutes, depending on the selected temperature. The temperature
control is used to set and maintain the temperature of the grilling plate. The temperature range is from 120 °C
at Low through 190 °C at Medium to 230 °C at High setting. You can change the temperature setting any time
during cooking, depending on the type and condition of the food on the plate.
ATTENTION:
The handles may become warm after a prolonged use. If you need to touch any part of the grill
during cooking, use oven mitts. While the grill is still warm, do not move it or turn it over. Let
the grill cool at least 30 minutes before handling it.
Note:
The multifunction stainless steel grill may faintly smoke and smell when first used. This is normal for
heating appliances with a non stick-surface.
