SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning:
The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and
situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot
be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating
this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fluctuation or
the modification or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fire or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and
that the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
2. Do not use the grill if the power cord is damaged.
All repairs including cord replacements shall be
performed by a professional service centre! Do not remove protective covers of the appliance,
risk of electric shock!
3. Protect the appliance against direct contact with water and other liquids, to prevent potential electric
shock. Never put it in the dishwasher!
4. Do not use the grill outdoors or in a humid environment. Do not touch the power cord or the grill with
wet hands. Risk of electric shock.
5. Do not use the grill close to flammable objects or underneath them, e.g. near the curtains. Temperature of
surfaces near the grill may be higher than usual during its operation. We recommend to insert heatproof
mat between the table and the appliance ( this will also avoid burns on the table or the tablecloth). Place
the grill away from other objects to ensure free circulation of air needed for its proper operation.
6. We recommend that you do not leave the grill unattended when the power cord is plugged in. Disconnect
the cord from the electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet
by yanking the cord. Unplug the cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.
7. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges. Never touch the hot
surfaces, use handles and controls. Prevent anything coming into contact with the heating elements.
8. Only use original accessories. Otherwise, you risk voiding the warranty.
9. The grill should not be left unattended during operation.
10. Pay close attention, if you use the grill with children present. Never let the appliance be handled by
children alone, protect them from the danger of electric shock. Put the grill in a place where children do
not have any access to it. Be careful that the power cord does not hang down.
11. Do not place the grill on a hot surface, do not use it close to a heat source (e.g. close to a stove element).
12. It is necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times, because it comes into direct contact with food.
13. Do not use oil in spray can on a hot grill, use basting brush dipped in oil, or use grilling marinades. Be
extremely careful, because overheated oil and grease can ignite.
14. Keep sufficient distance from the appliance during operation, to avoid being scalded by sizzling oil.
15. Use the grill only in accordance with the instructions in this manual. This grill is designed for home use
only. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper use of this appliance.
16. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children), whose mental or sensory disabilities
or lack of experience prevents them from using the appliance safely, unless they are supervised or unless
they were instructed in the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Child supervision
is essential to prevent them from playing with the appliance.
Special instructions regarding the power supply
A short power cord is supplied to limit dangers arising from tangling or tripping on it, etc. It is possible to use
an extension cord, maintaining all regulations and extra care.
