8.2. Decommissioning
Releasing refrigerant into the atmosphere is strictly prohibited!
Such marking informs that this equipment, after its useful life, cannot be placed together
with other household waste. The user is obliged to return it to a collection point for used
electrical and electronic equipment. Collection operators, including local collection points,
shops and communal units, create an appropriate system for returning this equipment.
Proper handling of used electrical and electronic equipment helps to avoid consequences
that are harmful to human health and the natural environment, resulting from the presence
of hazardous components and improper storage and processing of such equipment.
Disposal must be carried out in an appropriate and environmentally friendly manner in
accordance with applicable legal regulations.
8. STORAGE AND DECOMMISSIONING
8.1. Storage
Long-term storage - if the device will not be used for an extended period of time (more than a few weeks),
it is best to clean the device and dry it completely. Please store the device according to the following rules:
1.
Disconnect the device from the power source and disconnect the warm air exhaust pipe and the
window kit that should be stored with the device.
2.
Drain any remaining water from the appliance.
3.
Clean the filter and allow it to dry completely in a shaded place.
4.
Reinstall the filter in its place.
5.
The device should be kept in an upright position during storage.
6.
Store the device in a ventilated and dry room.
ATTENTION!
Dry the evaporator inside the machine before packing the machine to avoid damage to components
and the formation of mold. Unplug the device and place it in a dry, open place for several days to dry it.
Another way to dry the unit is to turn on the unit, set the unit to low speed ventilation and keep it until the
drainage tube is dry to keep the inside of the unit dry and prevent mold from forming.
