5.4.4. Automatic defrosting
5.4.5. Overload protection
5.5. Condensate drainage
Frost may form on the evaporator when the unit is operated at low room temperatures. The unit will start
defrosting automatically and the POWER LED will start blinking.
The defrosting process is as follows:
A. When the unit is running in Cool or Dry mode and the temperature sensor detects that the evaporator
coil temperature is below -1°C, the compressor stops running for 10 minutes. After this time or when the
temperature reaches 7°C, the device restarts in cooling mode.
B. When the unit is in dry mode, when the evaporator coil temperature sensor detects that the evaporator
coil temperature has dropped below 40°C and the temperature difference between the evaporator coil
temperature and the room temperature is below 19°C, after 20 minutes of compressor operation, the unit
will start defrost for 5 minutes and the power indicator will flash.
In the event of a power failure, there is a 3-minute delay in restarting the compressor to protect the
compressor.
Manual drainage
1.
When the unit shuts down after the condensate tank is full, disconnect the power plug
Attention!
Please move the device carefully so as not to spill the water from the drain pan located at the bottom of
the device body.
2.
Place a water tank (such as a bowl or bucket) below the water drain on the back of the machine.
3.
Remove the water drain plug, the water will flow into the water tank automatically.
Attention!
•
Keep the drain plug nearby.
•
The device can be slightly tilted backwards during drainage.
•
If the water tank cannot hold all the water that flows from the machine, before the water tank is full,
plug the water drain with a plug as soon as possible to prevent water from running onto the floor.
4.
When the water is completely drained from the machine, close the drain with a plug.
Attention!
Restart the machine after installing the water drain plug. Otherwise, condensed water will drain from the
unit onto the floor.
