Connection to System
Use RJ45 cable(s) to connect from connector XU1 on the CS04-A11 to current sense input XH6
on the I/O board.
Up to three current sensors can be connected to XH6. To connect more than three current
sensors use additional SiteSure-3G I/O modules. See details in the SiteSure-3G Installation and
Operation Guide (refer to Related Information on page
).
SC200 Configuration
For full configuration details refer to the SC200 Operation Handbook and/or SiteSure-3G
Installation and Operation Guide (see Related Information on page
The following configuration is required:
1
Connect to the SC200 using DCTools/Web.
Refer to the SC200 Operation Handbook for communications options and configuration.
2
Configure the current sense input(s).
The current sense input(s) must be
Enabled
and configured. Refer to
Enable and Configure
I/O
in the SiteSure-3G Installation and Operation Guide and the following notes:
Function
If the CS04-A11 current sensor is used for current monitoring which is
separate from total system load or battery current monitoring, then set
Function
to
User Defined
.
If
Function
is set to
Battery Current
or
Load Current
then the SC200 will
add the current measured by the CS04-A11 current sensor to the
current measured by other current sensors with the same
Function
value. If the current sensors are measuring the same (or part of the
same) current the SC200 will then calculate an incorrect value for the
system's total battery or load current.
Gain
Set to 10,000.
Offset
Set to 0.
3
Calibrate the sensor.
For exact calculation of
Gain
and
Offset
values for an individual current sensor refer to
Gain and Offset Calculation
in the SiteSure-3G Installation and Operation Guide.
