5.10 Verify Connections

Before the Sensing Cables can be connected to the Modules, the voltage of each cable needs to be
checked at the Molex connector. The purpose of this step is to prevent incorrect voltages from being
introduced to the Module.
5.10.1 Check Voltage & Current Sensing Connections
1.
Start with the first voltage harness V1.
2.
Insert the positive probe from the meter into the pin with the gray Sensing Wire on the
Molex.
3.
Insert the negative probe from the meter into the pin with the green Sensing wire on the
Molex. The voltage of cell/unit 1 should be displayed
4.
Continue by moving the negative probe down the pins until each wire is checked. The
voltages displayed on the meter should account for all of the cells measured.
