5.7 Input Voltage and System Voltage Cable Connection
Parts:
System Voltage Cable Set, AC/DC Power Cable Set, Fuse Set(s), splice connectors
Tools:
Phillips screwdriver, wire stripper, cable crimper, zip ties
The BQMS CCU has (2) inputs for voltage:
- Input voltage for power (AC or DC)
- Input voltage for system voltage measurement
Depending on how the system was configured and shipped, the method of connection and input will
vary. This section outlines the possible voltage connections on the BQMS CCU.
5.7.1 Voltage Connections Directly to CCU
The sections below outline the various ways system voltage may be connected to the BQMS CCU.
NOTE:
If installing an EE-NERC-BMS kit were the BQMS is in an enclosure, skip to Section 5.7.2.
1.
Locate the “Sensing” plug on the BQMS.
2.
Terminate the Total Voltage Cables to the correct polarity on the terminal block.
3.
Connect the terminal block into the BQMS.

Connect AC or DC Voltage Cables to the BQMS CCU (Models After July 2018)
1.
Locate the “Power” connector on the BQMS.
2.
For DC:
Connect the DC Power Cables to the correct polarity on the terminal block.
3. For AC:
Connect Live to (+), Ground to (Ground), and Neutral to (–) on the terminal block.
