Assembled Temperature Sensing Lead 

 
 
Adhere Temp. Sensors to Battery 

The Temperature Sensor thermistor should be mounted close the negative post of the cell/unit.  

 

1. 

Before adhering the sensor, ensure the number of the cable matches the cell/unit number. This 

will ensure the reported value in the software is for the correct cell/unit.  

2. 

Stick the adhesive pad close to the negative cell as shown below.  

3. 

Using silicone or hot glue, adhere the sensor right next to the base of the negative post. Try to 

keep the placement of the sensors consistent.

WARNING: 

Do not adhere the thermistor directly to the lead of any post or any surface that 

experiences high temperatures during charge / discharge cycles.  

NOTE: 

It is recommended to contact the battery manufacturer prior to using silicone or other 

adhesive substances on the battery cell.
