5.5.10 Connect & Adhere Temperature Sensors

The Temperature Sensors are adhered to each jar using silicon or hot glue (not provided). Each sensor

should be connected to the Temp. Sensing Cable Harnesses from the factory. Each harness can

connect to up to four Temperature Sensors.

Connecting Temp. Sensors to Cable Harness

Each Temp. Sensing Harness has cables which are labeled per the cell/unit they will be adhered to.

Each of these numbered cables should have two colored wires which will connect to the two wires on

the Temperature Sensor. In most cases, the sensors are connected at the factory, if they are not,

proceed with the steps below.

1.

Strip Strip away approximately 3/16” (4mm) of the 22AWG sensing wire.

2.

Crimp the sensing wire to the Temperature Sensor using the provided splice connectors as

shown below.
