Temperature Sensing Cables
connect to the Temperature Sensors which are mounted to the
negative post of specific cells.
The method of connection for Sensing Cables from the modules varies depending on the cell/unit
voltage. Different cell/unit voltages require different wiring. The diagrams in the following sections list
the various methods of cable connection depending on the cell/unit voltage.
5.5.2 Cable Connection to 2V Cell/unit:
For 2V cells a single Module measures up to four 2V cells.

The Voltage Harness includes (5) wires colored
gray

green

blue

orange
, &
brown

The Current Harness includes (2) wires colored
red
for positive & black for negative.

negative cable color was blue on systems shipped prior to August 2018.)

The Temperature Harness includes up to (8) colored wires for connection to Temperature
Sensors. (The color and number of wires depends on the number of cell temperatures being
monitored.)
4.
The last wire of the Voltage Sensing Harnesses (
brown
) connects together in the same clamp
with the first wire (
gray
) of the next harness.
5.
The last wire of the Input harness (black) connects with the first wire (
red
) of the next harness.
