Troubleshooting

HANDPIECE NOT FOUND
Verify that the surgical instrument is
securely connected to the generator.
HANDPIECE BROKEN
Disconnect and reconnect handpiece
to the generator. If problem persists,
replace with new handpiece.
HANDPIECE COM FAIL
TIP/HANDPIECE FAIL
TIP NOT CONNECTED
Verify that the surgical tip is securely
connected to the handpiece.
TIP ERROR
Disconnect the surgical tip from
the handpiece and reconnect the
tip to the handpiece. If problem
persists, replace with new tip.
TIP NOT INITIALIZED
Disconnect the surgical tip from
the handpiece and replace with a
new tip. If problem persists, contact
Domain Surgical for assistance.
POWER MODULE BROKEN
Disconnect and reconnect power module
to the generator. If problem persists,
replace with new power module.
TOOL/PM FAIL
POWER MODULE COM FAIL
TOOL NOT CONNECTED
Verify that the surgical instrument is
securely connected to the power module.
TOOL ERROR
Disconnect the surgical instrument
from the power module and
reconnect the instrument to the
power module. If problem persists,
replace with new instrument.
TOOL NOT CONFIGURED
Disconnect the surgical instrument from
the power module and replace with a
new instrument. If problem persists,
contact Domain Surgical for assistance.
RELEASE TOOL BUTTON
Release the activation button on
the surgical instrument. If problem
persists, disconnect the surgical
instrument from the power module
and reconnect the instrument to the
power module. If problem persists,
replace with new instrument.
‘n’ RPM USES REMAINING
This warning indicates that the
reusable power module has less than
5 uses remaining in its service life.
PM USE COUNT EXCEEDED
The service life of the power module
has been exceeded. Replace
with new power module.
AIR LINE BLOCKED
Uncoil the handpiece cable to ensure
there are no kinks. If problem persists,
replace with new handpiece.
AIR PUMP FAIL
Disconnect the handpiece from the
generator. Uncoil the handpiece cable
to ensure there are no kinks. Reconnect
handpiece to generator. If problem
persists, contact Domain Surgical to
return the generator for service.
RPM AIR FLOW FAILURE
Verify that an air line is securely
attached to both ends of the power
module. If problem persists, contact
Domain Surgical for assistance.
GENERATOR TOO HOT
Leave the generator plugged in. Power-
down the generator using the Front Panel
Power Button only. Allow the generator
to cool until the internal cooling fans turn
off. If the error persists, contact Domain
Surgical to return the generator for service.

PRE-AMP I TOO HIGH
Release the activation switch on the
handpiece and/or foot pedal to clear the
alarm. If the error persists, contact Domain
Surgical to return the generator for service.
RF-AMP I TOO HIGH
RF BIAS ERROR
RF OUTPUT TOO HIGH
POWER CONTROL ERROR
FOOT SWITCH ERROR
Make sure that the foot pedal is not
depressed. Unplug and plug in the
foot pedal to the rear of the generator.
If the error persists, contact Domain
Surgical to return the generator
and foot pedal for service.
NO SWR METER
Release the activation switch on the
handpiece and/or foot pedal to clear
the alarm. Completely power-down
the generator (both Front Panel Power
Button and Rear Panel Power Button).
Power-up the generator. If the error
persists, contact Domain Surgical to
return the generator for service.
RF 50 OHM FAIL
Completely power-down the
generator (Rear Panel Power Button).
Power-up the generator. If the error
persists, contact Domain Surgical to
return the generator for service.
RF 100 OHM FAIL
RF OPEN FAIL
SOFTWARE ERROR
CRC FAIL - PROGRAM
CRC FAIL - LOG
DATA FAILURE
POWER ON FAIL
PS 24V FAIL

Completely power-down the generator
(Rear Panel Power Button). Verify that
the power cable is connected properly.
Power-up the generator. If the error
persists, contact Domain Surgical to
return the generator for service.

Contact Domain Surgical to return
the generator for service.
CRC FAIL - CONFIG
CRC FAIL - CALIB
UNSUPPORTED TIP
Contact Domain Surgical for assistance.
UNSUPPORTED ACCESSORY
UNSUPPORTED TOOL
Please be sure to retain any faulty surgical instruments and return to
Domain Surgical for evaluation. Before returning a generator, power
module, or instrument, please call Domain Surgical at (801) 924-4959 to
obtain a Return Material Authorization number and shipping instructions.
