IMPORTANT- - - Placing the unit in bypass
Should there be a loss of water pressure in your home
caused by the filter, initiate a backwash by depressing the
“extra cycle” button and running a complete backwash
through all 4 cycles. Should this not correct the pressure
loss, place BOTH bypass valve knobs into the bypass posi-
tion and call your water dealer. The two knobs are located
directly behind your automatic valve where your cold
water pipes enter the unit. The knobs will only rotate 90
o
from full service to full bypass. If using a tool to assist
turning valves, use caution not to turn the wrong way- you
could damage the bypass valve!
Note:
Placing the bypass valve into the bypass position will
bypass both the filter tank and filter valve. The water
entering the home will no longer be filtered.
