Uninstalling the L-04A
Communication Setting
Files (Driver)
To uninstall the L-04A communication setting
files, perform the following steps.
• Before uninstalling the L-04A communication
setting files, make sure that the FOMA terminal is
unplugged from your PC.
• Make sure to read "Cautions when Installing/
Uninstalling" (P4) before starting the operation.
Example: For Windows Vista

Click " スタート (Start)" ▶ "コントロ
ールパネル (Control Panel)" ▶ "プログ
ラムのアンインストール (Uninstall the
program)"
The "プログラムのアンインストールまたは変更
(Uninstall or change a program)" screen appears.

For Windows XP
Click "スタート (Start)" ▶ "コントロールパネ
ル (Control Panel)" ▶ "プログラムの追加と削
除 (Add or Remove Programs)".

For Windows 2000
Click "スタート (Start)" ▶ "設定 (Settings)"
▶ "コントロールパネル (Control Panel)" ▶
Double-click [アプリケーションの追加と削除
(Add or Remove Applications)]

Select "FOMA L04A USB" ▶ "続行
(Continue)"

For Windows XP/2000
Select "FOMA L04A USB" ▶ Click [変更と
削除 (Change or Remove)].

Click [OK]

Click [OK] on the uninstallation
confirmation screen
Uninstallation will be completed.
Note
• The L-04A communication setting files may
not be installed properly in case the FOMA USB
Cable with Charge Function 01/02 (optional)
is disconnected or in case you abort the
installation by clicking [キャンセル (Cancel)]
button on the PC. In this case, uninstall the
L-04A communication setting files first, and
install them again.
DOCOMO Connection
Manager
"DOCOMO Connection Manager" is convenient
software for using the flat-rate data
communication and the metered rate data
communication. You can subscribe to "mopera
U" and easily configure your PC depending on
your contract status.
Also, you can check a data traffic and a total
amount of spending by using a total cost
counter function as a guide.

This manual explains up until installing the
DOCOMO Connection Manager.
For a connection to the Internet by using the
terminal, you need to subscribe to an Internet
service provider, such as "mopera U", capable of
services and data communication.
For the detail, visit the DOCOMO's web site.
Note
<Using metered rate data communication
(including "Pake-hodai" and "Pake-hodai full",
etc.)>
• Note that using packet communication to
perform with a large amount of data such as
accessing web sites with images, or data
download (example: downloading an application
or music/moving picture data, updating OS/anti-
virus software) may increase communication
charge.
Note that data communication by connecting
the FOMA terminal to a PC using USB cable
is not covered by the FOMA packet flat-rate
service, "Pake-hodai", "Pake-hodai full", and
"Biz-hodai", nor by "Biz-hodai double" maximum
charge.
<Using flat-rate data plan>
• To use flat-rate data plan, you need to subscribe
to an Internet service provider and rate plan
capable of flat-rate data communication. For the
detail, visit the DOCOMO's web site.
<Using mopera>
• For the connection settings, visit "mopera" web
site.
