Playing message from SMS
If a new message is recorded, you are notified via SMS.
Make a call according to the notification to play a message.

You can check recorded messages or make a service
setting on the Koe-no-Takuhaibin website.

→ [Call settings] → [Network service] → [Koe-
no-Takuhaibin]

[Confirm/Change
settings(site connection)]
■ Making service settings following the voice
prompts
Activate/Deactivate the Koe-no-Takuhaibin service and
start/stop play notification following the voice prompts.

◆ Setting Public mode (Drive mode)
Public mode (Drive mode) is an automatic answering
service used to ensure good manners in public places. Set
Public mode (Drive mode) to play a message for the caller
stating that you are unable to answer the call since you are
currently driving or you must refrain from speaking (in a
train, bus, cinema, etc.), and that the call will be
disconnected.

This mode can be set or canceled even when you are out
of service area or signal range.
･
You can make calls from the terminal even when Public
mode (Drive mode) is set.

When Public mode (Drive mode) is set
The ringtone does not sound even if you have an incoming
call on the terminal. Incoming calls are recorded as missed
calls in the call history.

Ringtones for mail, notices, and alarms do not sound.
However, if you check [Audible touch tones], and
[Audible selection] (
→
P84), the tones for those
operations sound.
･
The ring alert or Area Mail ringtone sounds when the
Area Mail is received even in Public mode (Drive mode).
･
When the terminal is not turned on, Public mode (Drive
mode) message is not played, and the caller hears the
same message as that played when you are out of
service area.
