Display amount of current 
and voltage being detected 
as a percentage of strike 
condition.

The line with the “V” shows 
voltage reading and the line 
with the “A” shows current 
reading.

2.

Strike indicator

Red lights come on as values 
in display increase.

Light in triangle represents 
strike warning condition and 
will trigger alarm(s) and 
strobe(s).

Remember that system can 
go from one or two lights to 
an electric strike immediately.

NOTICE: The ESID does not indicate 
proximity to electric lines. System will 
activate only when voltage and/or 
amperage detected at the drilling unit 
are above threshold minimum limits.
