Programming Keys
The F2 Plus Taximeter has two different programming keys: “Normal Key” and “Memory Key”. To programm F2 Plus
parameters, you should insert one of the two programming keys in its own connector.
1)
"Normal Key" (black color) enables manual programming procedures ( AutoTest, Tariff Programming, Fares,
Extras, Receipt and so on) but only if Q326=No, and enables Tariff programming from the Serial Port
2)
"Memory Key" (blue color) embodies a rewritable EEPROM. It can do the following operation:
a)
It transfers tariff and settings data to the taximeter where it is inserted: data download from the key to the
taximeter. “Load” will appear on the main display.
b)
by keeping K1 pressed while inserting the taximeter key, all tariff data will be updated from the taximeter to the
memory key. “Upload” will appear on main display. NOTE : only tariff settings already into key will be updated.
c)
enables manual programming procedures ( AutoTest, Tariff Programming, Fares, Extras, Receipt and so on) if
Q326=Yes, with the possibility of selecting the specific action to enable and the possibility of defining an expiry date
*To be noticed that just with one memory-key, pre-programmed, it is possible to programme an end-less number of
meters, all of them having the same tariffs.
The only parameter which does not get copied from the memory-key is the transmission ratio being calculated in AutoTest.
The only visible difference between the two keys is the colour: black for the “Normal” and “Blue” for the “Memory” one.
