Connecting your Printer to a PC Environment

Connecting to the PC

To connect your printer to the computer using the parallel interface, you need a 36-pin Centronics
type interface with shielded connector. This cable is not supplied with the printer package, but
can be supplied by your dealer..

1. Make sure the printer is switched off.

The power switch is at the position

2. Insert the interface cable

into the parallel connector

, and fasten it by means of the two

hooks

③

.

3. Connect the other end of the interface cable to the appropriate interface connector socket

(port) on your computer.
