14. Resetting to Factory Defaults

This procedure returns TouchPanel to its factory settings. After resetting TouchPanel, the next time you switch it on, it will

behave as if it is being switched on for the first time.

14.1 Resetting to Factory Defaults

1. From Main Menu select the following:

to display the Options menu.

to display the More Options menu.

4.

to display the Restore Factory Settings menu.

5. Type in the password. This is a precaution against accidental use of this feature.

7. TouchPanel will reset and behave as if it is being switched on for the first time. To learn how to configure TouchPanel

from this point, see section 3.

This procedure will cause all settings stored in TouchPanel to be lost, including Screens, Groups,

Scenes, Scheduled Events, Sequences and Cycles. However, DALI devices store their own scene

levels and Group information, so that information will not be lost. Background and button graphics

are also retained. This procedure also restores the default password.

To learn more about security and password protection, and to find the default password, see

section 4.

The Factory Reset password cannot be changed. It is provided only as a precaution against accidental

use of this feature.
