The LAN ports allow the system to connect to a local area network via Ethernet.
BIOS Setting
Configure the onboard LAN in the Advanced menu (“ACPI Configuration”) of the BIOS.
Refer to Chapter 7 for more information.
Driver Installation
Install the LAN drivers. Refer to Chapter 8 for more information.

HDMI or DP
VGA Port
The VGA port is used for connecting a VGA monitor. Connect the monitor’s 15-pin D-shell cable
connector to the VGA port. After you plug the monitor’s cable connector into the VGA port,
gently tighten the cable screws to hold the connector in place.
DVI-I (DVI-D Signal) Port
The DVI-I (DVI-D Signal) port is used to connect a digital LCD monitor to transmit uncom-
pressed digital video. This connector has a DVI-I receptacle but implements DVI-D signals
(digital only).
Connect the display device’s cable connector to the DVI-I port. After you plug the cable con-
nector into the DVI-I port, gently tighten the cable screws to hold the connector in place.
HDMI Port or DisplayPort
The HDMI port which carries both digital audio and video signals and is used to connect the
HDMI port of an LCD monitor or a digital TV.
BIOS Setting
Configure the display devices in the Advanced menu (“Video Configuration” submenu) of the
BIOS. Refer to Chapter 7 for more information.
Driver Installation
Install the graphics driver. Refer to Chapter 8 for more information.
