1. Remove the protective foam from the
adapter’ s pins. The adapter board contains
two sets of square pins that connect the Mac
II Adapter to the CPU and AMU sockets on
the Mac II motherboard.

2. Locate the CPU and AMU sockets. This is
where the adapter board will be installed.

3. Orient the adapter board so that the pins on
the adapter align precisely with the m oth­
erboard CPU and AMU sockets. The adapter
should be positioned so that the 120 pin con­
nector is toward the front of the machine.
