3. Place the case separating tool into the case’ s
gap and carefully apply pressure to loosen
the case’
s rear from the front of the com pu t­
er. You will need to perform this all the way
around the case before it will com e apart.
With the case open, remove the alum inum
Radio Frequency shield.

4. Carefully place the M acintosh back on its
bottom, being certain not to make contact
with the CRT or power supply.
