MFG Card Registration Baseline

The Manufacturing (MFG) Card Registration Baseline determines the card’s
position when the heated roller is lowered. This setting is used to account for
variations between printers and is calibrated at the factory.

•

This adjustment is available only to the Advanced User.

•

If the MFG Card Registration Baseline is properly adjusted, setting the Card
Registration Offset to zero should position the leading edge of the card
directly under the nip of the rollers.

Range

-100 to 750 (mils)

Increase Value

Moves the card further into the rollers.

Decrease Value

Moves the card away from the rollers.

MFG Temperature Baseline

The Manufacturing (MFG) Temperature Baseline calibrates the output of the
thermocouple to represent actual temperature in degrees Celsius.

•

This adjustment is available only to the Advanced User. It requires special
temperature measurement equipment and should not be altered.

Range

-20 to 20 (C°)

MFG Patch Registration Baseline

The Manufacturing (MFG) Patch Registration Baseline determines how far the
laminate material is advanced after an index mark is detected on the patch
supply foil. This baseline setting is used to account for variations between
printers and is calibrated at the factory.

•

This adjustment is available only to the Advanced User.

•

If the MFG Patch Registration Baseline is properly adjusted, setting the Foil
Advance Offset to zero should position the leading edge of the patch directly
under the nip of the rollers.
