Example
With this setup shown for sensor S2, P3 will be ON when the temperature is above
Max and when the temperature is below Min.
Event
The Event parameter determines how the ECL 2000 transmits alarms to an external
alarm recipient, for example a main station.
Note:
In version 2.0 of the ECL 2000, you are able to read and modify the Event settings.
However, these settings have no influence on the function of the controller.

Description
Event
Default value:
Range:
ON, OFF
Hi, –
Lo, –
0, 1, 2, 3
The Event parameter consists of 4 set-
tings that can be changed individually.
The top line can be set to ON or OFF.
When set to OFF, alarms generated by
this sensor will not be transmitted to an
external recipient. When the setting is
ON, alarms will be transmitted to the
recipient address determined by the set-
ting in fourth line (0, 1, 2, 3)
The setting Hi in the second line indi-
cates that an alarm will be transmitted to
an external recipient when High or Max
is exceeded
The setting Lo in the third line indicates
that an alarm is transmitted to an external
recipient when the temperature drops
below Low or Min
The fourth line (0, 1, 2, 3) is used to se-
lect one of four possible classes of exter-
nal alarm recipients. The setting is re-
served for future use
10.4.4 Log Today, Log Yesterday
These two groups of pictures allow the operator to monitor today’s and yesterday’s
logs for all possible sensors. There is a log picture for each relevant sensor, showing
the measured temperature. See Appendix C on page 87 for a complete list of the data
displayed in log pictures.
Note:
When the controller’s date or time setting is modified, this may cause the log displays
to be inaccurate during the following 24-hour period.
